Etihad Cargo has increased its freighter services to Africa with the launch of a cargo only service from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Maya Maya Airport, Brazzaville (BZV), in the Republic of Congo. APAC airports report marginal growth in April
Air freight in Asia-Pacific experienced marginal growth of 2.6 per cent year-over-year for the month of April, reported Airports Council International (ACI). The slowing down in freight volumes reflected weaker demands from Europe and slowdown across Asian export markets. The Middle East sustained strong growth at 14.5 per cent due to expansion in both capacity and network. Virgin Australia to launch own cargo business
Virgin Australia will launch its own cargo service from 1 July following the end of its current contract with the Toll Group on 30 June. The move is a part of the Group's Virgin Vision 2017 strategy.
