China Southern may get US$220 million injection
China Southern Airlines may receive a US$220 million cash injection from the government, reported. Trading of the company's stock was halted in Hong Kong and Shanghai from today for no more than ten days while the airlines determined how to use the funds. Turkey/Australia direct flights now possible
Direct flights between Turkey and Australia are now possible following the signing of the first-ever air services agreement between our two countries. Under the new arrangements Australian and Turkish airlines can immediately begin operating up to five direct flights per week.
