Liege Airport saw a ‘contrasted’ 2022 as the cargo airport saw freight demand fall whilst passenger numbers increased no thanks to the double whammy brought about by Covid and Ukraine conflict. 1.14 million tonnes of freight transited through the Belgian air hub, a 19 percent drop compared to figures seen in 2021. Challenge Group offers capacity from Türkiye

Air cargo reaped the benefits from a 'traffic boom' at Munich Airport last year as air freight volume increased by 55 percent from 2021 to around 259,000 metric tonnes.
