DHL Express has added more than 2,000 tonnes to its weekly airfreight capacity to cater to rising demand for express shipments within Asia and between Asia Pacific and the US. IAG Cargo adds widebody capacity to serve holiday rush
IAG Cargo is set to increase its capacity between London Heathrow (LHR) and Hong Kong (HKG) this month with the expected consumer demand during holiday sales events like Singles Day, Black Friday and Christmas. IAI's Aviation Group has signed an agreement with aircraft lessor World Star Aviation to convert 10 B737-800 passenger aircraft to cargo configuration. The orders come with an option for 10 more. Qatar Airways Cargo is the first cargo carrier to adopt Safran Cabin’s new fire resistant containers (FRC) after taking delivery of the initial batch of containers in late-September.
