Airbus celebrated the delivery of its 10,000th aircraft last week - an A350-900 for Singapore Airlines. Cathay sees Sept cargo pick up with 7.1 per cent growth y-o-y
Cathay Pacific Airways today released combined Cathay Pacific and Dragonair traffic figures for September 2016 that show an increase in both the amount of cargo and mail uplifted and number of passengers carried, compared to the same month last year. The two airlines carried 162,116 tonnes of cargo and mail in September, an increase of 7.1 per cent compared to the same month last year. Rawanda launches emergency drone delivery service with Zipline, UPS and others
Rwandan President Paul Kagame launched the world’s first national drone delivery service during a ceremony in the country’s centrally located Muhanga District. Starting today, the Rwandan government will begin using drones to make up to 150 on-demand, emergency deliveries per day of life-saving blood to 21 transfusing facilities located in the western half of the country.
