The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that 59 airlines have committed to the 25by2025 campaign which seeks to address gender balance in civil aviation. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for global air freight markets showing that demand, measured in freight tonne kilometers (FTKs), decreased by 1.1% in November 2019, compared to the same period in 2018.
