September 15, 2014 by PLA Editor

At its recent Investor Day, Air France and partner KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have outlined their proposed "Perform 2020" strategic growth plan which was originally outlined in July 2014. AF-KLM undertakes surgery, Martinair spared

September 8, 2014 by PLA Editor

Contrary to much speculation in recent weeks, the Air France-KLM-Martinair group will retain its all-maindeck subsidiary Martinair, albeit with a drastically reduced fleet. All five old MD11F in the fleet will be retired progressively starting shortly and ending in 2016 and in addition, a B747-400ERF, which is currently leased to Etihad Airways, will be returned to the leasing … [Read more...] about AF-KLM undertakes surgery, Martinair spared

“All options” on the table for AF-KLM group

April 24, 2014 by PLA Editor

The Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo group has said it is currently studying the future of its cargo business and the role of dedicated freighters within that business. The results of this study, expected to be announced by mid-July, cover anything from continuing with the status quo, to drastic action that could include exiting dedicated freighter operations altogether, the group’s senior cargo management said recently. Speaking at a press conference at Amsterdam Airport … [Read more...] about “All options” on the table for AF-KLM group
