Airfreight movements at Singapore Changi Airport grew 2.1 per cent, with 159,700 tonnes of cargo handled during the month. Aircraft landings and takeoffs decreased by 3.7 per cent to 28,380. For the period of January to October 2014, cargo shipments grew by 0.5% to 1.53 million tonnes while aircraft movements were stable at 283,650 for the same period. RJ receives its 5th Dreamliner
Royal Jordanian welcomed its fifth 787 aircraft, thus completing the assimilation of the first group of its 787 order. Royal Jordanian’s acting president/CEO Captain Haitham Misto said that the 787s that RJ acquired are a new, advanced generation of the 787. Shanghai is now open to e-AWB
Pudong Airport (PVG), Shanghai Customs, have implemented Customs e-Release for both export and import for general cargo (not including express cargo). As a consequence, a stamp on the paper AWB for Customs clearance is no longer required, hence removing the requirement of paper Master AWB.
