Munich Airport welcomes 3rd runway ruling
Germany's Bavarian Administrative Court has upheld an earlier decision on planning permission for Munich Airport's plans for a third runway. After five onsite inspections, 41 days of hearings and an intensive review of the 2,800 page planning permission decision by District Government of Upper Bavaria, the court dismissed 16 suits filed in objection to the official approval of the project. Lufthansa Cargo offices raided in bribery probe
The offices of Lufthansa Cargo have been searched by prosecutors in connection with a bribery probe, a spokeswoman for the Frankfurt prosecutor's office has said. "Five people are being investigated, including a manager who is suspected of taking bribes," the spokeswoman said according to a Reuters report. Around 17 premises were searched including the Lufthansa Cargo headquarters, she added. Kuwait Airlines orders 25 Airbus aircraft
Kuwait Airways, the national airline of Kuwait, has ordered 25 aircraft including ten A350-900 and 15 A320neo Family aircraft as part of the airlines’ fleet renewal strategy.
