CHEP sees dichotomy in the current market

IATA’s June figures offer hope with 1.2% expansion
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released June figures showing a 1.2 per cent year-on-year expansion in global air freight demand. Although weak, this is a clear improvement when compared to the 0.9 per cent year-on-year demand growth recorded in May and the 0.1 per cent growth realised over the first half of the year. Garuda delays London service due to Jakarta runway problem
Due to runway problems at Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Garuda Indonesia has been forced to postpone its new service to London, which had initially been planned for 2 November 2013.
