Lufthansa Cargo and All Nippon Airways (ANA) have announced a further integration of their services from 12 July, as part of their cooperation agreement signed in late 2014 and gradually extended. ANA’s Myanmar joint venture Asian Blue Aviation gets green light
Myanmar’s Directorate of Investment and Company Administration has approved an investment of US$70.8 million by in Asian Blue Aviation Co Ltd, a joint venture between Japan’s ANA Holdings and Golden Sky World. The approval enables the company to operate for 50 years in the Myanmar air transport sector with the carrier focusing exclusively on international routes. ANA to take 8.8% stake in Vietnam Airlines
All Nippon Airways (ANA) has signed a memorandum of understanding to buy an 8.8 per cent stake in Vietnam Airlines for VND2.4 billion (US$108 million). The move is part of ANA’s strategy of investing in the fast-growing Southeast Asian aviation sector, which in 2013 saw the Japanese carrier take a 49 per cent share in Myanmar’s Asian Wings Airways, which was subsequently cancelled. The first flight operated by Japanese airline ANA between Brussels and Tokyo's Narita airport took off on Sunday.
