Vietnam’s transport ministry has sought approval from the prime minister to issue a licence to the country’s first all-cargo airline, Reuters reported last week. The airline, IPP Air Cargo, owned by luxury retailer Imex Pan Pacific Group, had met all necessary requirements for the licence, according to a statement posted on the government website. Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has become the sole shareholder of AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) after the government transferred its entire interests in the conference facility, a press release announced last week. Fraport AG is selling its stake in Xi’an Airport (XIY) in central China after 14 years, the group announced last week.
