Guangzhou-based China Air Cargo has provisionally secured its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). Boeing has announced the launch of the Next-Generation B737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) with orders and commitments for up to 55 conversions from seven customers. The first B737-800BCF is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2017. AEI announces order for 15 B737-800SF conversions
Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has announced that Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has placed an order for 15 B737-800SF conversions with options for an additional 15 freighters. AEI will commence the conformity B737-800SF modification in 2016 and expects to receive FAA Supplemental Type Certification in 2017. Korean Air has announced it will add two non-stop services to China from Incheon International Airport in Seoul, beginning 27 May.
