IAG Cargo takes off in Kuala Lumpur
IAG Cargo has opened its newest bellyhold route, operating between London Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur with up to 15 tonnes of cargo capacity per daily flight. Starting from October 2015, Air France will operate an additional flight to Havana, increasing its offer to 11 weekly frequencies during winter 2015. Air France began serving Havana in 1998. Boeing, TUI finalise order for 787-9 Dreamliner
Boeing and TUI Group, integrated leisure travel group of companies, have finalised an order for one 787-9 Dreamliner with an option for one further 787-9. The order is valued at US$257 million at current list prices. TUI Group also announced that it will substitute two unfilled orders for 787-8s for two 787-9s. The European leisure group will operate a fleet of 13 787-8s from this summer and will add three 787-9s to its fleet within the next three years. SWISS finalises B777-300ER order
Boeing, the Lufthansa Group and Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) have finalised an order for three additional 777-300ER (extended Range) aircraft, valued at US$990 million at current list prices.
