Boeing and TUI Group, integrated leisure travel group of companies, have finalised an order for one 787-9 Dreamliner with an option for one further 787-9. The order is valued at US$257 million at current list prices. TUI Group also announced that it will substitute two unfilled orders for 787-8s for two 787-9s. SWISS finalises B777-300ER order
Boeing, the Lufthansa Group and Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) have finalised an order for three additional 777-300ER (extended Range) aircraft, valued at US$990 million at current list prices. PEMCO delivers B737F to China Postal
PEMCO World Air Services (PEMCO) has redelivered its latest B737-300F (MSN28158) to Beijing-based China Postal Airlines EMS (CPA), the fourth passenger-to-freighter conversion under the current five-aircraft agreement. All four PEMCO freighter conversions to date have been performed at STAECO’s Jinan Shandong China facility. China Air begins Taoyuan-Shenzhen
Taiwan's China Airlines (CAL) has launched a new freighter service from Taoyuan to Shenzhen. The airline will operate three flights per week on this route using B747-400F jets. CAL said it is believes the new route could meet the growing demand for the shipment of consumer electronics and express air parcel as Shenzhen is a major hub for e-commerce and online shopping. Oman Air orders 20 B737s
Oman Air has ordered 20 B737 aircraft as part of a plan to double its fleet to 70 by 2020, chief executive Paul Gregorowitsch said. The order includes both the current generation of 737s, which will be delivered from 2017, as well as the re-engined 737 Max aircraft that will come from 2019.
