Emirates SkyCargo has welcomed the arrival of its newest B777 Freighter, bringing the total number of freighters in its fleet to 15, including two B747-400Fs and 13 B777Fs. Emirates' newest B777F, which left the Boeing Manufacturing Facility in Everett, Washington, in September, flew its first mission to Hong Kong. Boeing, Cathay celebrate milestone 70th B777 delivery

Boeing and Cathay Pacific Airways celebrated the delivery of the airline's 70th 777 aircraft – also the last and 53rd 777-300ER of its confirmed orders – that has made Cathay Asia's largest operator of the B777 fleet. With today's delivery, Cathay Pacific's B777 aircraft fleet comprises of 53 B777-300ERs, 12 B777-300s and five B777-200s. FedEx confirms order for 50 B767Fs

FedEx Corp has confirmed the market speculation, as reported by Payload last week, by signing a deal to purchase 50 additional B767-300 freighters in the biggest order ever for the aircraft type, allowing the aircraft maker to extend its production line well into the next decade. FedEx may be on the verge of a US$10 billion order for 50 or more B767-300Fs and up to 10 B777Fs worth another $3.2 billion at list prices, according to a report in Leeham News and Comment citing "Market Intelligence".
