IAG Cargo restarts cargo-only services to BKK and HKG
IAG Cargo is predicting a busy summer schedule and has restarted cargo-only services to Hong Kong and Bangkok using B787-9 aircraft. Daily flights from London Heathrow (LHR) to Hong Kong (HKG) have already started on 1 June, whilst flights between LHR and BKK from 24 May are being operated four times each week. IAG Cargo returns to Australia with belly capacity
IAG Cargo has restarted its London Heathrow to Sydney route for the first time since early 2020, as Australia reopened its borders to vaccinated passengers all over the world. Starting 27 March, IAG Cargo will utilise a B787-9 widebody aircraft with the capacity to transport up to 13 tonnes of cargo (10 compatible pallets) on a daily rotation. IAG Cargo adds widebody capacity to serve holiday rush
IAG Cargo is set to increase its capacity between London Heathrow (LHR) and Hong Kong (HKG) this month with the expected consumer demand during holiday sales events like Singles Day, Black Friday and Christmas. Flights are up 30 percent for November and there will now be 11 weekly flights each week between the two cities, the carrier noted. IAG rotates senior management as British Airways CEO Cruz makes exit
In the latest series of management changes circulating the aviation industry, IAG announced that British Airways' Alex Cruz will step down as CEO but will remain as the airline’s non-executive chairman. Cruz, who took the job in April 2016, will be replaced by Aer Lingus CEO Sean Doyle.
