Top German firms launch ‘new era’ of cargo flights on SAF
Air freight can now be transported with zero carbon dioxide tailpipe emissions, DB Schenker and Lufthansa Cargo claim after both companies jointly launched the first regular carbon neutral cargo flight in history on 1 April, Thursday, April Fools, not kidding. DB Schenker starts air charter service to three continents
Maintaining its momentum from last year, DB Schenker is expanding its own-controlled charter flights with the introduction of a new service that connects America, Europe and Asia directly. The new route runs from Chicago (RFD) via Munich (MUC) to Tokyo (NRT) and Seoul (ICN) before flying back to Germany and from there again to the US.
