ABC enjoys 17% growth in half year tonnage
AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has reported an impressive 17 per cent increase in tonnage carried across its global network in the first half of 2015. The airline transported over 218,000 tonnes in the six months ended 30 June 2015 and saw a 22 per cent rise in freight tonne-kilometres. ABC achieved a load factor of 67 per cent during the half-year, maintaining a level much higher than the industry average. AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has continued its strong operating performance with tonnage up 16 per cent in the first five months of 2015. In the January-May period, the airline transported 180,605 tonnes across its global route network linking Europe, Asia and the USA via Russia. ABC reports 20% increase in Q1 tonnage
AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has reported a 20 per cent increase in tonnage for the first quarter of 2015, continuing the trend set by previous years. In the January 1-March 31 period this year, ABC carried 103,816 tonnes across its international route network connecting customers in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific through its hub in Moscow. Volga-Dnepr signs B737-400 conversion deal
Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services has signed a B737-400 freighter conversion agreement with Russia based Volga-Dnepr Group. The 737-400 arrived at Boeing Shanghai at the end of November for the passenger-to-freighter conversion; a "C-check" - an extensive check of the airplane's systems and components that can require several days to perform; and full painting. Russia’s largest cargo carrier, AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), is expanding its presence in the US market with the launch of B747-8F freighter flights linking Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) with Amsterdam and Moscow.
