Polar Air Cargo Worldwide landed its inaugural flight at Singapore Changi Airport on 17 August, linking Changi’s freighter network to a new city link - Cincinnati, Ohio. The aircraft, built in 1990 is a high gross weight B737-400 with only 30,000 cycles. Cargoair will operate the aircraft under a long-term contract for the European integrator, DHL. Cargoair currently operates a total of six AEI converted freighters – three B737-300SF and three B737-400SF.
