Emirates SkyCargo restarted cargo flights to New Zealand in early May using its passenger aircraft, as part of the country’s International Airfreight Capacity Scheme (IAFC) to connect exporters with the international market. Dubai to streamline processing of hazardous goods
Emirates SkyCargo and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to streamline processes for the transport of dangerous or hazardous goods. The two entities will work together to “proactively share information on certain classes of dangerous goods booked for transport” on the airline through Dubai. The agreement also aims to develop an approval process for transporting such cargo for better efficiency and to reducing wait times.
