Brussels Airlines switches out ECS for ALG

Europe's Brussels Airlines Cargo has appointed Air Logistics Group (ALG) as its new global GSSA with effect from 1 September, replacing European Cargo Services (ECS). The airline says that last year, its cargo traffic grew 34 per cent on north Atlantic routes and in the past five years the cargo division has seen double digit growth network-wide. Brussels Airlines Cargo continues Africa expansion

Brussels Airlines Cargo is launching operations to four more destinations in West Africa in conjunction with its global GSA partner, European Cargo Services (ECS). From July, the airline will commence four flights a week to and from Accra, Ghana via Monrovia, Liberia. In addition, Brussels Airlines will serve Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso with two weekly flights in combination with Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
