Frankfurt Airport (FRA) has recently announced their March and First Quarter Traffic Figures, which shows positive growth in the first three months of 2019. In the first three months of 2018, Frankfurt Airport (FRA) welcomed more than 14.4 million passengers – an increase of 10.0 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Frankfurt Airport’s (FRA) cargo throughput (airfreight + airmail) increased by 4.9 percent year-on-year to 200,827 metric tons. Twice weekly cargo service to Morocco
Frankfurt Airport (FRA) welcomed its newest cargo carrier: Royal Air Maroc. Since early November, the airline has been operating a B737-F from Frankfurt to Casablanca twice a week. In the first quarter of 2018, the airline intends to switch over to a B767-F, thus significantly increasing capacity. Frankfurt Airport’s Sky Line people mover made its first regular stop at the new Station C in Terminal 1. Thanks to the new station, the C Concourse in the eastern part of Terminal 1 is now also served by the airport’s people-mover system.
