Jettainer has inaugurated its expanded logistics centre at Frankfurt Airport. At the so called JettHub FRA, all resources are now bundled. The new facility guarantees immediate availability of ULD handling, maintenance and repair services at Germany's largest air traffic hub. Lufthasa delays construction of new cargo centre
Lufthansa Cargo will be delaying the construction of its new cargo centre called LCCneo at the Cargo City North of Frankfurt airport by at least two years. Fraport traffic points to continued recovery trend
Fraport’s July cargo figures continue to suggest a recovery with Frankfurt Airport’s (FRA) rate of decline in airfreight moving into the single-figure range for the first time this year. A German court has approved a US$5.6 billion expansion plan for Frankfurt airport, Europe’s biggest air cargo hub, but passed the responsibility of deciding on whether night flights would continue, to politicisions. The court ruled that the state of Hesse, where Frankfurt is located, must draw up new rules regulating flights between 11 pm and 5 am. Cargo decline slows in June at Frankfurt
Europe’s busiest air cargo hub, Frankfurt airport, has reported a slowing decline in cargo traffic in June. Frankfurt handled 148,211 tonnes of cargo in June, a 16.5 per cent drop from a year earlier that followed year-on-year declines of 17.1 per cent and 24.9 per cent in May and April respectively.
