The Volga-Dnepr Group, parent of both Volga-Dnepr Airlines and AirBridgeCargo Airlines, has reported a 25 per cent rise in cargo tonnage for 2008 compared to a year earlier. Singapore Airlines has posted a fiscal third-quarter net profit down 43 per cent amid significant fuel-hedging losses, shrinking demand for cargo and passenger travel.
