UPS expects “excellent” peak season this year

UPS names Canavan new president of UPS Airlines.

UPS has named Brendan Canavan, a 33-year UPS veteran, the new president of UPS Airlines. Canavan replaces Mitch Nichols, who was promoted to senior vice president of transportation and engineering. TNT accepts sweetened UPS acquisition offer

TNT has accepted a sweetened offer by United Parcel Service (UPS) for TNT’s Express unit, making the US-based express delivery company the largest express package-shipper in Europe with €45 billion in global sales. Cargo fire suspected in crash of UPS freighter

Investigators looking into last week's crash of a United Parcel Service Inc. (UPS) B747-400 freighter in Dubai are zooming in on the possibility that a fire started in the cargo hold touching off a chain of events that led to the aircraft to crashing into an uninhabited portion of military compound in the Emirate. UPS looking at acquisitions

United Parcel Service Inc (UPS) is looking for acquisitions to bolster its supply-chain and freight-forwarding units, according to its CEO Scott Davis. UPS CEO warns against protectionism
