Dubai is on track to open its second and the world's largest airport — the Al Maktoum International — on 27 June this year, according to Dubai Airports CEO, Paul Griffiths. China Southern Airlines may receive a US$220 million cash injection from the government, reported. Trading of the company's stock was halted in Hong Kong and Shanghai from today for no more than ten days while the airlines determined how to use the funds. Direct flights between Turkey and Australia are now possible following the signing of the first-ever air services agreement between our two countries.
