Frankfurt Airport (FRA) welcomed approximately 63.2 million passengers in 2025. This represented year-on-year growth of around 2.6 percent. European traffic at Germany's biggest airport was up 3.7 percent. The strongest performing destinations were in Southern and Southeastern Europe (up 6.4 percent). Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) handled 61 million passenger trips in 2025. The performance was achieved on the back of a strong Christmas peak season, surpassing 200,000 daily passenger trips for eight days in December. Maastricht Aachen Airport released its annual results for 2025. The Dutch airport handled 41,636 tonnes of cargo and 159,270 passengers last year, and recorded 7,549 aircraft movements, of which 1,737 were cargo flights and 994 passenger flights. Liege Airport had an excellent year in 2025, with freight volumes increasing by 14% compared to 2024, reaching 1,324,579 tons.
