PACTL sets new record for 1H 2015
Shanghai Pudong Int’l Airport Cargo Terminal Co., Ltd. (PACTL) has achieved tonnage growth of 10.9 per cent year-on-year, handling 762,104 tonnes of air freight during the first half of 2015, making it the strongest result for the first six months of any year in the company’s history. Two of the Philippines’ main air gateways — Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila and Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) — showed contrasting cargo performance for the first five months of 2015, according to latest data from the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) and Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA). HNA Group in talks to acquire Swissport
HNA Group Co., owner of China’s fourth-largest airline, is said to be in talks to acquire ground handler Swissport International Ltd., according to a Bloomberg report quoting unnamed sources.
