The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has elected Dr. Xie Xingquan as its Regional Vice President for North Asia effective 15 June. Xingquan, who has been with IATA since 2011, was most recently the association’s Assistant Director, Legal, based in Montreal. Singapore Airlines’s low-cost carrier Scoot has named Leslie Thng as its incoming CEO effective 16 June 2022. Thng, who has been with the SIA Group for 23 years, was the CEO of Indian airline Vistara, a SIA-Tata Sons joint venture, between October 2017 and December 2021. Iceland-based ACMI leasing and air freight company Bluebird Nordic earlier this month announced the appointment of Audrone Keinyte as the company’s CEO.
