Panalpina’s board of directors has nominated Peter Ulber as the company’s new chairman for the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on 10 May 2016. He will succeed Rudolf W. Hug who has served as chairman since 2007 and does not stand for reelection due to the age limitation in the company’s bylaws. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has announced Shum Jin-Chyi Kevin will be appointed as the director-general of Singapore aviation regulatory body with effect from 2 August 2015.
