China’s three major airlines all returned to profit in the third quarter thanks to stronger passenger demand and lower fuel prices. Air China saw its net profit for the July-September period reach US$125.3 million, compared to a loss of US$288.5 million in the same period of last year. Distracted' US pilots loose their licences

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has revoked the licenses of two Northwest Airlines pilots who flew 150 miles beyond their destination last week as a result of being distracted by a cockpit discussion of airline policy, they claimed . SATS records 26% growth in profit

Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) has reported a S$40.9 million (US$20 million) profit for the three months to 30 September, up 26.2 per cent year on year, the second quarterly growth following four consecutive periods of declines.
