Vnukovo International Airport has begun providing cargo handling for carriers with services to the airport following the opening of a new mail and cargo terminal. MNG ups its order for A330 freighters
MNG Airlines, the largest Turkish all-cargo operator, has placed a follow-on order with Airbus for two more A330-200Fs to support its expanding cargo operations. These aircraft are in addition to the two firm orders for the A330-200F which the carrier placed in 2007, bringing its total orders for the type now to four aircraft. AAPA: Asia cargo volumes recovering but weak
Preliminary figures released by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) for August, point to a slowly recovering air cargo sector. For the month of August, international cargo traffic for AAPA member airlines in terms of freight tonne kilometres rose to 3.9 million FTK, a very close second to July's 3.95 million FTK.
