Swissport expands in Vienna with new cargo terminals
Swissport has signed a 7-year lease for two air cargo terminals near Vienna Airport as the company aims to expand its cargo activities and build its share in forwarder handling. The adjacent 8,000-sqm warehouses are part of the Deutsche Logistik Holding‘s ‘SkyLog Park Vienna’ in Austria’s Fischamend region, the company said. Trigana Air 737 skids on collapsed gear at Jakarta airport
Last Saturday a B737-400 freighter operated by Trigana suffered runway excursion during an emergency landing at Jakarta’s Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport. The aircraft, registered PK-YSF, was slated to fly cargo to Makassar (Indonesia) with four crew members.
