Singapore Changi Airport registered 17.2 million passenger movements from April to June 2026 (Q2). This was 1.5% lower than the same period last year. Passenger traffic for the first half of 2026 remained positive, growing 0.4% year-on-year. IATA Board appoints Saadia Zahidi as Director General
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that Saadia Zahidi has been appointed by IATA’s Board of Directors to the position of Director General from 1 November 2026. Zahidi will be IATA’s ninth Director General and the first woman appointed to hold the position.
