Dubai cargo volumes rebounded in Aug

Cargo volume at the Dubai International Airport bounced back by 4.3 per cent, reaching 192,902 tonnes in August compared to 184,877 tonnes during the same month in 2013. Dubai: 4th month of double digit cargo growth

Dubai international airport started the new year in fine form with cargo volumes continuing their strong upward trend with the fourth consecutive month of double-digit increases, surging 31.5 per cent. Dubai Airports Cargo handled 171,453 tonnes of freight in January 2010 compared to 130,375 tonnes during the same month in 2009. Dubai pax numbers up, cargo stable

Dubai International recorded an increase of 19.5 per cent in passenger traffic in September, the highest monthly growth rate since October 2007 and the fourth consecutive month of double-digit passenger traffic growth. Cargo growth remained stable in September with a modest increase of 2.75 per cent. Dubai International stays on growth track

Dubai International airport has continued to hang on to both cargo and passenger growth despite the continuing global downturn in air cargo and passenger movements with the airport holding on to its position among the world’s top five hubs for international cargo volumes.
