Etihad Cargo adds third B747 from Atlas Air

Etihad Cargo has expanded its fleet of freighter aircraft with the placement of a third B747 freighter from Atlas Air Worldwide as part of a multi-year Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance (ACMI) agreement. The 747-400 freighter is the third aircraft to be operated by Atlas Air on behalf of Etihad Cargo, and complements existing lease agreements previously signed by Etihad Cargo for B747 freighter aircraft in May 2012 and May 2013. Etihad, Avianca to partner on new freighter service

Etihad Cargo will partner with Avianca Cargo through a commercial agreement to deploy a freighter flight from Milan’s Malpensa Airport, Italy, to Bogotá, Colombia and from Bogotá to Amsterdam. The new service will operate twice a week, providing cargo connection between Europe and South America. Etihad sees surge in cargo in Q3

Etihad Airways' total cargo tonnage rose 9 per cent, year-over-year, in the third quarter of this year, which helped boost overall revenues at the UAE flag-carrier by 29 per cent. The carrier’s Etihad Cargo subsidiary shipped a total of 144,498 tonnes in Q3, bringing in revenue of $US$284 million, a 16 per cent increase, year-over-year, with just 1 per cent capacity growth. Etihad maindeck to Moscow as Putin threatens overflight ban

Etihad Cargo has launched, from today, twice weekly freighter rotations linking Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Moscow Domodedovo (DME) airports. The dedicated cargo service will operate every Wednesday and Friday using an A330-200F freighter, with a capacity of 64 tonnes. Etihad Cargo moves into cargo top 10

Etihad Cargo starts Dar es Salaam maindeck service

Etihad Cargo commenced a weekly freighter service to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from 13 June 2014.  On the return sector to Abu Dhabi, the freighter will also stop in Nairobi, Kenya.
