Malaysia Airlines has released the cargo manifest and air waybill for its flight MH17, the B777-200 extended range aircraft that crashed in eastern Ukraine on 17 July. The Malaysia Airlines B777-200ER which crashed in eastern Ukraine on Thursday killing all 298 persons aboard was shot down by militants, according to a Ukrainian interior ministry official who was quoted by Interfax-Ukraine news agency. MASkargo sees 16% improvement in yield
Malaysia Airlines has ridden the economic updraft and returned to profitability in the first quarter, with increased cargo volumes and passengers, along with compensation from Airbus over delivery delays of its A380 superjumbos. The carrier announced its January-March net profit of RM310 million (US$97 million) , an improvement of more than RM1 billion from a loss a year earlier.
