Singapore Airlines’ Q4 net profit up six-fold

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has said its fourth quarter net profit soared more than six-fold as the global economic rebound boosted travel and cargo demand. Net profit in the three months to March was S$278 million (US$197.5 million), up from $42 million in the same quarter the year before, the company said in a statement. Emirates posts 1H net profit of US$200M

Emirates posts 1H net profit of US$200M Emirates airline produced a net profit of Dhs 752 million (US$205 million), for the first six months of its current financial year ending 30 September 2009. This represents a 165 per cent improvement compared to Dhs 284 million (US$77 million) net profits for the same period in 2008. China’s three major airlines all returned to profit in the third quarter thanks to stronger passenger demand and lower fuel prices. SATS records 26% growth in profit

Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) has reported a S$40.9 million (US$20 million) profit for the three months to 30 September, up 26.2 per cent year on year, the second quarterly growth following four consecutive periods of declines.
