On 5 August 2024, the Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) from Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand and Singapore and the national flag carriers Qantas, Air New Zealand, Garuda and Singapore Airlines launched user-preferred routing (UPR) trials on 38 different scheduled routes between cities in Australia/New Zealand and Indonesia/Singapore. Qantas to launch new route from Manila to Brisbane
Manila, 14 May 2024: Qantas has today announced it will launch a new route from Manila with direct flights to Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. Qantas will convert two of its Airbus A330-200 passenger aircraft into freighters to support the significant shift towards consumers shopping online. Hong Kong International Airport announced last week that it will implement more stringent requirements to further protect airport staff after its most recent confirmed case involving lounge staff.
