Qatar Airways takes three new A350-1000s as A380s remain grounded
Qatar Airways has taken delivery of three Airbus A350-1000 aircraft and is now the largest operator of Airbus A350 aircraft with 52 in its fleet. All three new A350-1000s will operate on “strategic” long-haul routes to Africa, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe and should add more belly capacity, joining their forerunners and 30 Boeing 787s. Qatar’s new San Francisco service to make more room for belly cargo
Qatar Airways will add San Francisco (SFO) to its network starting 15 December, with four weekly flights operated by A350-900 aircraft and adding 60 tonnes of weekly belly hold capacity each way.
