Vietjet announces five new Thai domestic routes, becomes first airline to resume operations in Phuket

Vietjet has announced ticket sales for five new Thailand domestic routes from 15 June 2020. These five new routes will connect the capital Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) with famous tourism and cultural destinations from North to South of Thailand including Hat Yai, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Ubon Ratchathani, and Surat Thani.  The five new routes extend Thai Vietjet’s domestic flight network to 12 domestic routes, connecting 11 destinations in Thailand. Vietjet opens eight new domestic routes, offered 2.5 million promotional tickets for all Vietnam flights

Vietjet has opened ticket sales for its eight new domestic routes, which will commence operations from June 18, 2020. The new domestic routes connecting Hanoi with Dong Hoi (Quang Binh province); Hai Phong with Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh province); Vinh (Nghe An province) with Phu Quoc; Da Nang with Phu Quoc, Da Lat (Lam Dong province), Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak province), Vinh and Thanh Hoa – has increased the total number of Vietjet’s domestic flight network to 53 routes.   Vietjet, a Vietnamese carrier has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus. The signing would add on 50 A321neo single aisle aircraft, to the carrier’s current fleet of aircrafts.
