The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes US$60,000 civil penalty against American Eagle Airlines, Inc. for failing to follow approved aircraft de-icing procedures for certain flights out of Sioux Falls, SD. Dubai cargo volumes rebounded in Aug
Cargo volume at the Dubai International Airport bounced back by 4.3 per cent, reaching 192,902 tonnes in August compared to 184,877 tonnes during the same month in 2013. Etihad Airways will expand its African route network with the launch of a daily service to Dar es Salaam, the largest city in Tanzania. Flights between Abu Dhabi and Dar es Salaam, which will commence on 1 December 2015, will be operated using A320 aircraft. Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines announced an order for 20 B737 MAX 8s.
