Thai Airways International (THAI) has become the eighth operator of the A350 XWB, following the delivery today of the first of 12 aircraft set to join the carrier’s fleet. Asia Pacific carriers see 3.9% cargo growth in July
Preliminary traffic figures for the month of July released today by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) showed positive growth in both international air cargo and air passenger markets. Air cargo volumes for Asian airlines in July grew by 3.9 per cent as measured in freight tonne kilometre (FTK) terms. Nepal Airlines courting Middle East carriers, could sell 51% stake
Nepal Airlines said it has held informal talks with a Middle East airline after the Nepalese government mandated it to find a “strategic partner,” its managing director said earlier this week. TIACA’s Doug Brittin to step down end of the year
Doug Brittin, secretary general of the International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) since 2013, has advised the Board of Directors that he will retire at the end of this year.
