Emirates has announced its second daily service from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA).The new service which began on 7 July and is operated by a B777-200LR supplements the current B777-300ER flight. Emirates has announced plans to start a daily service to Bologna, Italy operated by a B777-300ER from 3rd November 2015. The Dutch government is citing “unfair competition with Air France-KLM” as the reason for its actions. Jet Airways forays into air cargo biz
Mumbai-based Jet Airways is planning to enter its air cargo business by leasing up to three Airbus A330-200F freighter aircraft from Etihad, its Abu Dhabi-based partner airline. The plan is to start with the wet lease of one A330-200F in the next few months and later expand. As the business grows, the aircraft would be converted into dry leases. Hong Kong Air Terminals Limited (HACTL), forwarder DB Schenker and Emirates coordinated the transport of 62 horses for the Longines Hong Kong Masters, moving them from Liege to Hong Kong.
