Frankfurt Airport served some 5.8 million passengers in September 2024, a 1.2 percent increase on the same month in 2023. Domestic traffic grew by 1.3% and European traffic by 2.6%. Frankfurt Airport (FRA) served some 6.1 million passengers in August 2024, a 3.7 percent increase on the same month last year. Supported by summer school vacations in Hesse and neighboring German states, FRA surpassed the 200,000 passenger mark on a total of 13 days across the month.
