Frankfurt Airport reports modest passenger growth for November 2024
In November 2024, Frankfurt Airport (FRA) welcomed some 4.6 million passengers, a slight 1.0 percent increase from the same month last year. Compared to pre-crisis levels, passenger traffic at FRA was still about 8.4 percent below the figure seen in November 2019. Cargo throughput in Frankfurt grew by 2.4 percent year-on-year to 178,355 metric tons in the month under review. In October 2024, approximately 5.7 million passengers traveled via Frankfurt Airport (FRA), up slightly (by 0.3 percent) from the corresponding month of 2023. Fraport releases September 2024 traffic figures: Continued growth for passenger numbers and cargo volumes
Frankfurt Airport served some 5.8 million passengers in September 2024, a 1.2 percent increase on the same month in 2023. Domestic traffic grew by 1.3% and European traffic by 2.6%. Fraport traffic figures – August 2024: Passenger numbers and cargo volumes continue to grow
Frankfurt Airport (FRA) served some 6.1 million passengers in August 2024, a 3.7 percent increase on the same month last year. Supported by summer school vacations in Hesse and neighboring German states, FRA surpassed the 200,000 passenger mark on a total of 13 days across the month.
