Malaysia Airlines is set to sell off a number of widebody aircraft as it restructures its network and fleet, news website Flightglobal reported. Malaysia's national carrier has started marketing some of its B777-200ERs and A330-200 freighters to potential purchasers, Flightglobal said, citing industry sources familiar with the matter. Air France-KLM group full year results for 2014 reveal flat revenues of €24.9 billion and EBITDA of €1.5 billion, down €266 million. Jet Airways forays into air cargo biz
Mumbai-based Jet Airways is planning to enter its air cargo business by leasing up to three Airbus A330-200F freighter aircraft from Etihad, its Abu Dhabi-based partner airline. The plan is to start with the wet lease of one A330-200F in the next few months and later expand. As the business grows, the aircraft would be converted into dry leases. Lufthansa takes delivery of fifth Triple Seven
Lufthansa Cargo has taken delivery of its fifth and final Boeing 777F freighter aircraft. D-ALFE landed in Frankfurt for the first time on 12 February on its delivery flight from Everett near Seattle. Cathay gives Kolkata its second freighter service
Cathay Pacific Airways has launched a new service to Kolkata, India, commencing 11 March 2015. Cathay Pacific will become the only carrier providing direct freighter services between Kolkata and Hong Kong. The scheduled service will operate twice a week on a HK-New Delhi-Kolkata-HK routing. Korean Air orders five 777 freighters
Boeing and Korean Air finalised an order for five 777 freighters. The order, valued at more than US$1.5 billion at current list prices.
