Korean Air is providing relief goods to those affected by the flood in Myanmar with goods delivered to the country including 1,800 litres of water and 500 blankets. The relief goods fom Korean Air were delivered to Myanmar on 2 September, through the carrier's flight KE471. Korean Air Aerospace Division (KAL-ASD), the aerospace manufacturing division of the Korean Air Group, has been selected by Airbus to supply new Sharklet wingtip devices including a wingspan extension for the A330neo – the new variant of the A330 Family of widebody aircraft. Korean Air widens 4Q losses
The Korean flag carrier posted a KRW272 billion (US$247.5 million) net loss for the fourth quarter of 2014 and a KRW458 deficit for the full year, widened from a KRW57 billion loss recorded in the year-ago period.
