AirAsia has emerged in the Top 5 among airlines in the Asia-Pacific region in a recent survey conducted by leading market insight company TNS. The ‘Top 10 Asia-Pacific Airlines’ category forms part of the Asia Pacific Top 1,000 Brands 2008 survey. Malaysia : MASKargo sees revenue rise despite downturn
Malaysia Airlines Cargo (MASkargo) is expecting RM2.8 billion (US$782 million) in revenue this year, up from RM2.75 billion in 2007, despite challenges in the global economy, managing director Shahari Sulaiman said recently. Direct maindeck cargo capacity between Japan and New York will be nonexistent come this January as NCA and JAL cargo both scale back transpacificcapacity.
